Principal's Message

Mr. Jason Phillips

Welcome WPHS Family to the 2024-2025 school year. The WPHS Faculty and Staff are eager to return to work this fall in order to provide you with the most exciting experiences to further you along your educational journey. Our district has worked extremely hard to provide multiple opportunities for you to find something that will help you along the way. From engaging classrooms to opportunities through multiple Career and Technical Education classes, and with a multitude of extracurricular options, WPHS has a plethora of options for you to find your calling while with us.

Wills Point ISD is a fantastic district and I am excited to be back serving as the principal of the high school.  I received my bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M-Commerce and began my teaching career in 2005. In 2009 I was able to obtain my master’s degree from Lamar University.  In 2019 I was blessed to be named assistant principal at WPHS and served in that capacity until 2022.  I am excited to be back in Wills Point with a special group of students, educators, and community members. My wife Jennifer is a Special Programs Director at Kemp ISD and we have two daughters Tristyn and Bryleigh. This will be my 4th year at WPHS, and I am so honored to work with you during your time here.

If at any time you have questions regarding WPHS please reach out to me through email: jason.phillips@wpisd.com, or by phone at 903-873-5100.

Thank You

Jason Phillips M.Ed.
