Tiera Homer, Assistant Principal

Hello! My name is Tiera Homer and I will be serving as an Assistant Principal at Wills Point High School this year. I grew up in Wills Point and proudly graduated from here in 2004. I have worked in Wills Point for 11 years now. I started off at the High School teaching Algebra for 5 years, then moved into the Instructional Coach position for our math and science departments for 2 years. I then moved into the Assistant Principal role at the High School then at the Middle School for the past 4 years. 

As a parent of three WPISD students, I am invested in our schools and community. Every student has opportunities to be successful and forge their path to accomplishing their goals. Holding to our traditions and values will help guide them along their journey. It truly takes a village to raise these children and I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of that village for your children.

I am very excited to be back at the High School. High school is such an important time in the lives of our students. I hope to bring guidance, structure, support, and fun to help students as they prepare for their future. Working with students, their families, and our community is key to success. I look forward to building those partnerships and celebrating successes this year.
