Wills Point High School
Welcomes Our New Principal
Jeffrey Smith

Greetings Wills Point!

It is with tremendous excitement that I introduce myself to you as your new Principal of Wills Point High School!  What a great opportunity, what a great school and district; I am so thrilled to become a part of the Wills Point family!

As a 22-year veteran educator, I come to you from Eagle Mountain/Saginaw ISD, where I have had the privilege of serving as an Educator and Administrator for the past eleven years.  My extensive experience, leadership capacity, high energy, passion and drive for excellence are all qualities that I cannot wait to put to work for the great kids of Wills Point.  Whether working on innovative new strategies to individualize instruction, or effectively collaborating with parents and community members to reach new academic and extra-curricular heights, I am ready to get connected with all of you and begin this great new journey.

For me, passion for learning is my relentless pursuit.  I work diligently to build excellence through the holistic interests of each individual student.  My expertise lies within the relationships I develop with the families I serve as we build a common vision for the future.  I love developing powerful performers within the walls of the classroom, both students and teachers.  I enjoy celebrating high level performers either in the classroom, on the stage or on the athletic field of play.  I thrive on participating in collaborative campus and community organizations.  I am committed to nurturing everyone in a safe and positive environment empowering all participants to take the necessary risks to realize each individual’s true potential. I firmly believe that together we will be an incredible synergy that will create powerful, positive social change for many years to come.

Finally, allow me to introduce you to my family.  First and foremost is my beautiful wife Debbie.  She is also an educator, who has been an amazing teacher for over 23 years. And then there are our 4 children— Jaime (24), Kyle (18), Spencer (17) and Zoe (8). They, too, are very excited to be making Wills Point their new home.  Your community and hospitality have been wonderful, and we look forward to spending our time and growing with each of you moving forward.

“Family is the root of success for any campus—the power of family can move mountains.  The power of family can change the world.”

We are family….WE are WILLS POINT HIGH SCHOOL!
