You could help save a life!

Volunteers will be here swabbing cheeks to build the bone marrow match database in the library Wednesday, February 1st from 7:15am-1pm. It is short 10 minute process. At this time computers will also be available to register for organ donation. Anyone is welcome to stop by!
The Wills Point High School Speech and Academic Team competed at the Van Tournament on Saturday, January 14, 2012. This was a very competitive tournament with 30 schools represented. Congratulations to the following students:
- Zach Berberich placed 2nd in Persuasive Speaking
- Aaron Berberich and Jason Bell advanced to semi-finals in Persuasive Speaking
- Madason McCombs placed 3rd in Number Sense
- Stephen Magee placed 2nd in Current Events
The Current Events team placed 2nd .

Senior Information
**UPDATE: The state has enacted Senate Bill 1107 effective January 1, 2012, requiring that all first-time students entering college must provide proof of vaccination against bacterial meningitis 10 days prior to the start of classes.**

The Speech and debate team competed at Crandall December 3rd and took home the sweepstakes trophy:
In Interp finals Jessica Reynolds placed 1st, Liz Ketchersid placed 2nd and Courtnee Walls placed 3rd.
In Extemporaneous speaking finals, Jason Bell places 1st, Jonathan Rose placed 4th, Blake Unger placed 4th, Zach Berberich placed 3rd and Aaron Berberich placed 1st
In Lincoln Douglas debate finals, Blake Unger received 3rd, Aaron Berberich received 2nd and Zach Berberich received 1st place with Aaron receiving the top speaker award.
