The students participated in their state contest events with over 5000 competitors represented in over 100
different contests. Only the first place in each category can advance to the National competition located in Louisville, KY this June.

I am so excited that we have three students from Wills Point High School advancing to the SkillsUSA Nationa Leadership conference!

I first want to congratulate all our state team for working so hard during their competitions.
Emma Adkins, Megan Bennett, Ryan Blasingame, Logan Daniell, Hannah Harris, and Austin Morrow did very well and represented Wills Point proudly.

Special congratulations go out to Harley Hall and Grace Felan.

Harley was elected as a new state officer for 2015-2016 and she was state champion in the Prepared Speech contest.

Grace was the state champion for Pin Design, and her design will be worn and traded by every Texas competitor at the national conference.

Taylor Lulloff will be joining the pair as a National delegate representing SkillsUSA Texas and District 5.
